Onboard Training for Superyachts
Riviera Sea School are specialists in providing RYA Training to superyacht crew, owners and guests. The school benefits from having one of the very few fully qualified RYA Instructors who hold real, first hand superyacht experience. Sam Kemble-Taylor, the school’s principal has also been selected by the RYA as an RYA centre inspector for the superyachts, thus superbly placed to advise you on all your training needs.
Wherever your yacht may be located we are able to come onboard and train your crew, owners and charter guests. We are able to cater for a wide range of courses but here are just a few of the more popular courses run onboard the yachts. RYA Personal Watercraft Proficiency (1 day)
RYA Personal Watercraft Instructor (3 days)
Powerboat Level 2 Direct Assessment (normally half a day)
In addition to the many courses we have on offer Riviera Sea School are often called upon for advice on setting yachts/superyachts up as RYA Training Centres looking to run the RYA PW Safety scheme onboard. Whether it be using our full service to take you through this process including the writing of the comprehensive operations manual required to gain recognition or just to ensure all is in place for an annual inspection, RSS and its team are here to help and advise you.
