Personal Watercraft/ Jet-Ski Certificate of Competence 1 Day None This course is designed to teach you how to use your PW safely and confidently. Course syllabus will include launching and recovery, slow speed maneuvering, passage planning, collision regulations, falling off and re-boarding, stopping distances, buoyage, towing and high speed handling. Self Sufficient in fair conditions, aware of the limitations of the craft and self. Certificates for children aged between 12 and 16 will be endorsed to show that they must use PWs only under the supervision of a responsible adult. 360 euros
Personal Watercraft/ Jet-Ski Instructor 3 Days Participants must be 16 years or over, hold the Personal Watercraft Certificate of Competence, have at least two years PW driving experience, hold a valid first aid certificate. The instructor course is run over three days by an RYA PW Trainer and assessed by an independent Trainer. Personal watercraft instructors are experienced PW drivers who have been trained and assessed to run the RYA's Personal Watercraft Proficiency Course. PW instructors can now also run the RYA's new Introduction to PW Safety course, which is designed for guests on Superyacht charter holidays. Personal Watercraft Instructor Existing Powerboat Instructors are able take a one day conversion course to become a PW Instructor. All PW Instructor courses are undertaken by highly experienced Powerboat Trainers. 950 euros
