VHF Short Range Certificate

Enjoy our excellent shorebased teaching facilities at our base in the port du Golfe-Juan, and take in the beautiful views of the French Riviera, stretching from the famous yachting hub of Antibes all the way to the beautiful bay of Cannes.

Course Description

This course has been designed for anyone intending on using the VHF equipment onboard their boat. It is a useful qualification not only for boat owners/users but for those of you who enjoy kayaking and/or dinghy sailing. It is also a popular course for sailing clubs and the emergency services to train themselves on essentially life saving equipment.

The VHF SRC is an internationally recognised license and satisfies the pre course requirements for some of our other courses such as the Yachtmaster Offshore certificate of competence.

Pre Course Requirements

None! We do however encourage our students to familiarise themselves with the phonetic alphabet prior to coming on the course. You will receive this in your course pack after you make your booking.
