Powerboat Instructor

Located in the pretty port of Golfe-Juan, Riviera Sea School boasts a very special powerboat course venue, situated right in between the famous yachting hub of Antibes and the beautiful bay of Cannes.

Course Description

This three day instructor course is intended for those required to issue any of the RYA Powerboat qualifications listed below:

RYA Powerboat Level 1

RYA Powerboat Level 2

RYA Safety Boat Course

The course is run over 3 full days and will be instructed by an RYA Powerboat trainer. On the final day of the course you will be moderated by an independent examiner.

Pre Course Requirements

If you are interested in becoming a Powerboat Instructor, we ask that you have a minimum of five years powerboating experience, having driven a variety of different craft along with a good background knowledge and be over the age of 16. If you are unsure about your experience please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss your eligibility for this course.

Upcoming Courses

Our Powerboat Instructor courses can be carried out at anytime throughout the year and are scheduled according to demand. Depending on your situation this course can be conducted at our base in Golfe-Juan or as Own Boat Tuition onboard your boat or yacht tender anywhere in the world.
