Powerboat Level 2

Located in the pretty port of Golfe-Juan, Riviera Sea School boasts a very special powerboat course venue, situated right in between the famous yachting hub of Antibes and the beautiful bay of Cannes.

Course Description

The Powerboat Level II is an extremely popular course in the RYA National Powerboating Scheme as it is the starting point for the majority of our new powerboating students. This course aims to take those who are new to boating to a level whereby they have enough basic knowledge in navigation and boat handling to prepare thier vessel for sea and navigate familiar waters during the day.

Recognized by the MCA as the ‘Tender License‘, the Powerboat Level 2 is also popular among professional yacht crew working in the Yachting Industry.

Here at Riviera Sea School, 80% of this two day course will be spent ‘behind the wheel’ giving you the opportunity to gain as much practical experience as possible.

Included in your Powerboat Level 2 course fee are administration and certification costs along with all of your course materials including fuel, wet weather gear and a Start Powerboating book (often extras at other schools).

Pre Course Requirements

There are no pre course knowledge or skills necessary to embark upon this course. All we ask is that you are older than 12 years of age.
