Roll on 2009!

With Christmas seeming like a distant memory and all our New Years resolutions long forgotten 2009 is starting to feel like it is truly underway.

Kicking off to an early start Riviera Sea School is preparing for a very exciting year indeed! With our first Yachtmaster Theory Course running next week and the usual Powerboat Level II enquiries beginning to flood in we are looking forward to a good old chaotic Summer Season on the Med.

Powerboat CoursesSince the purchase of our brand new powerboat, the Ribeye 600 A Series, early this year, we are especially motivated to get out there and show our students what it is all about.

The Ribeye’s superb handling capabilities and creatively designed jockey seats make it a perfect vessel for powerboat training.  Along with the latest in navigational equipment and the ability to reach speeds up to 35 knots this powerboat will guarantee a safe, forgiving yet exhilarating ride every time.

In addition to our new fleet member we would like to welcome our recently recruited Chief Shorebased Instructor, Gwilym Evans, to the Riviera Sea School Team. If you plan on taking any Shorebased Courses you will more than likely find yourself under Gwilym’s instruction and with over 20 years experience, instructing and examining the RYA Scheme, you can be rest assured you will be in good hands.

So lets start think about putting away the ski’s, say good bye to the snow and get ourselves geared up for a successful, fun filled 2009!

All the best to you all, Lets make it a good one!
